Balance Transfer

May 27th, 2015 at 07:46 am

I've been thinking about transferring more to my 0% card for a while now. Well, I just did it: 1000 from BoS has been transferred to Tesco. It's 0% until June 2017. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. There is a fee of 2.99% roughly for doing the transfer.

Every bit you can save through a transfer balance is worth it. Glad you did it!

I think this was the right choice as I'm sure that fee is far less than the interest you are being charged. Smile

WOW 2 years interest free is great! Now to focus on the best places for your payment and aim to have it all paid off by what date?

I should aim to have it paid off before June, say May 2017? I think I'll need to pay over 70 each month to have it paid off by then. The statement hasn't updated yet so I don't know the exact balance.
