This & That

February 5th, 2017 at 11:02 am

It's SG's birthday next month. For J's birthday I ordered him a waistcoat from a girl who has a small business designing clothes, amongst other things. I've asked the same girl to make a dress for her birthday. She told me that it'll cost 25 so I transferred the money to savings for when I get the invoice. The money is essentially spent, right? I even input it into my app. I figured it made sense to transfer it now. I should really do things like this more often. If I don't, it really upsets my budget.

Speaking of budgeting, I'm a bit annoyed at myself because my online food shop is more than last month. This one is 78.xx and last month's was 58.xx.i have added extra because hubby is baking me a cake for my birthday.

I got in touch with hubby's friend about hotels near where he's getting married. I'm waiting on a reply. I want to get it sorted soon. I also need to decide how much money we're giving both couples...

I say if you put the money aside now, consider it spent now and input into your app. Much easier that way because when the invoice is due all you need to do is pay it, no stress.

Agreed. It's gone. Where are the weddings? Sounds like fun.

I agree...you've spent the money even if it hasn't actually gone out.

Hope you get the info on the wedding. It is frustrating to try and plan and have to wait for info.

Sorry to be so ignorant of British customs. Is it typical to have clothes made-to-measure for kiddies to celebrate birthdays? Were they needed because of up coming weddings? We've just left Bangkok where there is a 'Bespoke' shop every few steps.

Thanks guys. The money is in savings.
Snafu, it's not typical, I just thought that it would be nice and she can wear it to both weddings.
