Short Update

September 3rd, 2015 at 06:59 am

I was debating whether or not to update, even though there's not much to talk about. I think I was losing interest in my blog there but I don't want people to think I'd fallen off the bandwagon and was away racking up debt or spending my minimal savings (if I disappear). I realise it's only been a week since my last update. I guess I just think I'm at a point where I will talk about anything in this blog. Or, almost anything. I'm unsure whether this is a good or a bad thing

Anyway....

Spending has been all over the place. Seems to be the theme these last few weeks. Food shopping has not been helped with me buying some processed foods. And steak.

I got my haircut. It's a total change.

I haven't totaled up my snowflakes for August.

EF is now at 276.78.

I think that's it.

I missed you and am happy to hear from you! (Financial or non-financial). Sometimes we need a break and that's ok. Just try to keep your frugal habits so there's no catching up to be done Smile

Yes, we like to hear what you are up to, Sarah! Always cheering for you...even if you don't post. Blogs can be strange at times. I try to remember that I'm primarily blogging for myself. If others don't agree or have opinions that aren't mine that is okay. I do try to learn and consider the information, but I don't necessarily need the feed back. I post to keep myself accountable and if someone is inspired in the process then that is great too. We all have our own journeys financial and otherwise. It would be sad if we were all the same!

Are you feeling discouraged? It is a long road to get out of debt. I feel like the question to ask is: If you keep moving towards being debt free with you be better off than if you didn't?

How many times have I (temporarily) called it quits? I've not posted much either. Simply because there isn't much to blog about. There isn't much money or all - we are remaining solvent, but its getting to be a bit much having to stretch the dollars, and find balance, etc.

Thank being said, always nice to read whatever you share. Smile

    Thank you everyone.
@CCF I don't think I'm feeling discouraged. I know I will be better off when I'm eventually debt free.
@DW: I remember you temporarily stopping a few times. I wasn't going to start a new blog or anything, I just meant that if I disappeared for a while I will be back, without any extra debt in the process. I don't think I will though. I was just thinking about it really. I've had the blog for a long time.
