Hello November

Last night was our first Halloween in our own place. I made up bags of sweets to hand out to the trick-or-treaters. Well, we didnt get any so I now have sweets that I can easily take with me when I leave the house.

My meal planning is going ok, although I have more leftovers than I thought I would. I had to make vegetable soup a few days ago because I had so much fresh veg that needed to be used up. Also MIL gave us a dozen rolls so we had some with our soup.

    We don't get trick or treaters in our neighborhood, either. You have snacks for a while!
    Are you freezing the soup? That will taste really good as it gets colder.

    No I didnt freeze the soup, hubby had quite a lot of it.

    NO trick-or-treaters?! Well, that is kind of sad for the holiday, and kind of great for you, since it leads to some unexpected treats for the next while! I hope you have some insurance of the will-power to make those candies last longer than 48 hours... Wink Jerry
