Inspired by LR: Payday Post

February 7th, 2014 at 06:32 am

I don't normally post what I've paid but here it is:

- rent £243
- Littlewoods catalogue £137.60
- Vertbaudet catalogue £24.00*
- BoS CC £87.00
- Cap One CC £60.00
- four-weekly bus ticket £73.20

Total: £624.80

* This is a kids French catalogue that I got Dec 2012 for SG. I only have a small credit limit (£250)

One thing this post says to me, and I'm already aware of it, is this: most of my money goes to debt!!

I hope you're feeling better. Have you returned to work?

Good on you for posting expenses. It's tough to admit that a significant perentage of your income goes to past purchases; your side bar makes it clear that you're concentrating on bringing down those balances.

    Thanks snafu.
No not yet although I am hoping to return within the next few weeks.

I'm trying to work out a Valentine Dinner that seems special that isn't complicated or expensive. I'll make Red Velvet cup cakes with cream cheese frosting for dessert and have wild Salmon sort of steak cut in the freezer. Some sort of rice or baked potato, salad and two vegetables he'll eat is the problem. DH really likes those super hot red candies which I hope are available at the Bulk style store. Often those in packages aren't very fresh and I have a sentimental candy container thatmakes DH laugh
