I'm getting a bit bored writing these since the total barely moves, but I will keep it up.

You might be bored with it but you are £0.20 from £170. Progress is a beautiful thing no matter how smallSmile

VS is right. And it's focusing on this, inch by inch, that has got you there. Focusing on not letting these small bits of money trickle away, but instead accumulate.

I might have missed seeing it with our house sale and move, but do you have a plan once you hit £200? In an ISA for tax savings? Keep building a higher EF or still pay it in the same account but skim off an amount over the £200 to the catalogue balance each month?

If you are finding it really boring, maybe just post about it at the start or end of each month?

You are on the right track, Sarah! I've given lots of thought to the small drains - and realize that pooling that money will go further in some instances (like a nice meal out with all the kids, instead of random frosty's and cones in the car on the way home from sports practice)!

And look at how fast your balance is going up. Smile

AT least it is going up and not down.

    Thanks everyone!
@bluesfemme - no plan once I hit £200. Yes it's in an ISA. I haven't thought about skimming an amount off the balance after I reach £200, I would just love to meet my goal of £350, that isn't likely until the end of the year though.
