I think this is my first no spend day this month, which is really bad.
I've been job hunting daily, every day I find vacancies I never noticed before. I might have to work two jobs so i can pay back my graduate endowment.
So how's my challenge? Not going very well.I have £1 to add to it today for walking my dog.
My graduation pictures arrived last week. I'm going to try and put mine on the computer. I'm really bad at it.

I graduated on Thursday morning. It was a really nice day. The only bad point was that I thought that I was going to either pass out or be sick at the ceremony. I think that was only because of the heat and the number of people that were in the theatre. Nobody told me how warm the gowns are.
Graduation Ball was on Friday. It was a great night. The hotel was really expensive. I think I did more dancing than drinking anyway. I took lots of pictures, and so did my boyfriend, so I just need to learn how to put them on the computer (or steal his).
I woke up this morning to a letter about my Graduate Endowment. I need to pay more than £2000. Less than a week after I've graduated and I'm getting letters already.

It's the night before my graduation. I've got my things sorted for the morning so I'm not stressing about it.
Spent some money today, kept my receipts so I can total up any savings later and how much I've spent.

No, I haven't, although from my previous entries it looks like that.
This week is Graduation week: I graduate on Thursday and my Graduation Ball is on Friday. Me, my mum and my boyfriend have been working out how much money we will need for the ceremony and the graduation ball. I need to get my boyfriend to give me his half of the money before Thursday so I can put it into my account.
I got paid on Friday, and I bought the outfit I'll be wearing to my graduation. I also bought some clothes for my holiday.
I think I will add more to my challenge next week when I really won't be doing anything.
I've been bringing my own lunch to work, which is really helping. Just need to try and save money in as many ways as I can.

I did some overtime today, it was only a 6 hour shift. The store was reasonably quiet, and we were only really struggling when other members of staff were on their breaks. I like quiet days, it feels like it's easy money.
Speaking of money, I usually buy Cosmopolitan every month. This month it only cost £2 and I got a free beach bag with it, which I will be taking on holiday with me.
I've saved a total of £2.50 over the past two days. It isn't a lot but it's been added to my challenge.
New total: £33.10 + £2.50 = £35.60
I think this month has quite a lot of expenses but I'll notice it more in July when I graduate (hopefully). Worst case scenario: I have re-sits and i graduate in November but I will still have the Graduation Ball.
I've put my name down for one extra shift during the week of the Graduation Ball. It's an early shift so if I'm not completely organised I can always go shopping afterwards.

I really like having these days.
I just phoned the hairdressers and booked an appointment to get my hair put up for my graduation ball.
I still have to buy shoes to go with my dress.
Less than a month to go

My last exam is tomorrow, on a Saturday of all days. I'll be going into work later because of it. I'm really stressed now, I want to graduate in July and if I fail anything then I won't.
I'm planning to arrive at uni about an hour and a half before my exam starts to do some last minute revision and get something to eat. I'll be so glad when it's over.

£100
I have to graduate in July. That's almost everything paid for, just the additional tickets which are available after I get my exam results in July.
Added £1 to my challenge money.
New total: £3.10

Final week of uni and I'm sitting here trying to finish my report on developmental prosopagnosia. I don't know if anyone has ever heard of it, it's a really interesting subject. People suffering from this cannot recognise familiar people e.g. friends, family and even themselves. If they're looking in a mirror they will know that they are looking at themselves but if they walked past a shop window and seen their reflection, they wouldn't know. There's a debate about whether there are separate systems for object and facial recognition, I'm finding it really interesting, hope I can mention it in my exam. Just in case anyone is wondering, the opposite exists too: some people cannot recognise objects but can recognise faces.
I still have about 5000 words of my dissertation left to write... I met with my supervisor on Friday and she basically said that I have more analysis to do and explained a method. I tried and I couldn't figure it out so I emailed her. I checked my mail this morning and she had replied and said that I should get help with statistics. Well as it turns out since this is my last week I didn't know if the sessions were still running so I emailed an academic advisor to find out. I missed today's one, waiting on her reply, so I have to go on Wednesday afternoon instead. I used to think my topic was interesting, but now I just want it handed in. I collected the project covers today all I need to do is write it!!!
The registry services emailed me last week, saying that I was registered to graduate but it is only provisional. If I fail anything this month I will graduate in July instead. If that happens I'm still going to the graduation ball - I've bought my dress, booked the hotel and paid for the tickets, I'm not cancelling it.

My prom dress arrived today. My mum ordered it from the catalogue so I'll just pay it next month. I'll try and attach a picture of it.

Hope it works.

I went into Debenhams this morning. They're having 20% off formal dresses although I don't know how long for. I wish I had enough money right now to buy one because I seen some really nice ones. I'll have to look in more than one shop before I buy my dress for my graduation ball anyway. I'm counting the months now till I graduate, I can't wait until I don't have to study anymore. I think I'll check Debenham's website for information.

I phoned the hotel to give them my card number today. I'm going to start putting money aside for graduation. The woman on the phone said that I have until 4pm on the day of arrival to cancel and there won't be a cancellation fee. I won't be cancelling but it's nice to know. My boyfriend is giving me his half before we go so I will put it into my account.
Next on the list is:
decide a hairstyle
pick a dress
book gown
book photos
save money for the evening
money for travelling back
It's quite a long list but I have until July.
