Total cost so far: £96.00

That's only on the day, it doesn't include the hotel or travelling there.

    So it's not just Americans that do up graduation. My son is graduating in early June, $125.00 so far. This does not include postage to mail the announcements, the day of party or the "Big Party" and all the pictures. We are still proud of him though.

    My high school graduation cost a lot! (Keep in mind that since my dad is a minister I have a LOT of friends through my church.)

    Pictures: $400 (It's outrageous...BUT, I'm very un-photogenic and my pictures turned out AMAZING!!)
    Cap/Gown/Fees, etc.: $80
    Announcements: $180
    Party: $100
    Total: $760!!

    Ouch, expensive. I was lucky and got to use the same gown as my sisters and ony had to buy my own hat and tassle. I can't imagine how much it will cost when my kids get up there.
