Inspired to join NaNoWriMo

After reading on here about fellow bloggers writing a novel for NaNoWriMo, I googled it this morning (about half an hour ago actually) I didn't realise that anyone in the world could join, I thought it was only for Americans. Anyway I registered this morning. Right now I'm browsing the site.

I used to love writing stories in High School. However, that was the last time I wrote anything!

    Congrats! I want to do that, too... but right now I am working on school and research, so it just leads to it not being feasible at the moment. After graduation, maybe? I'm glad that it is available to anyone, anywhere, and I hope that you enjoy writing your story. Just getting through will be some insurance of a major accomplishment!

    Yay! The more people the merrier! I actually talked my husband and best friend into doing it with me, too. It's a great escape. And I'm surprised at what a great group of people it is and how it keeps growing!

    And the one tip I keep having tell the other two that whatever story you write doesn't have to be perfect or even very good, it just needs to be written. :-)

    That is good advice. I don't even know what I'm going to write about yet! It is a great escape though, it's giving me something else to think about Smile

    I barely know what I'm writing this year! Usually I at least have a rough plot in mind, but this year I'm just belching words onto the screen...but in a way it's easier because I'm not worried about making prose worthy of my great idea, LOL.
