Christmas Shopping

July 30th, 2013 at 07:17 pm

SG's first Christmas present was delivered today. I got her my first playdough set. It was reduced from £20 to £6 but I used my rewards from my catalogue, so it was free. I'm now on a mission to think of what else I can get her since she will be almost two by the time Christmas comes.

Oh yes. I do the same thing. Try to buy Xmas presents in advance with deep discounts. I have boys 3 and 5. I do buy a lot of nice things at yard sales and second hand online, and those have always been hits. We found things like train tables and sets, a play kitchen (which yours might really like), and things like that. It's always a hit, and easy on the budget.

Two year olds often like wooden puzzles. I wonder if you can find them used at a yard sale or second hand shop, since they are rather expensive first hand. Enjoy--and know she will like the boxes and wrap the best of all!

Sadly, MOST 2-year olds like the BOX better than what's actually inside the box.

Thanks everyone. Yeah she probably will be more excited about the boxes and wrapping paper rather than the actual gifts. I think I'm just excited about some things for free for Christmas Smile
