9 Years Blogging

It's been nine years since I started this blog. Back when I was only twenty years old and naive enough to think that I could save up two thousand pounds. Other than the wedding, it hasn't happened yet.

You would think after nine years - with a little gap in between - that I would have a pretty hefty emergency fund. Oh well, I'm working on it.

Yesterday a 5GBP survey reward was credited to my account. I split it up 70/30 to cc#2 and EF.

    Ha - I'm right there with ya! I was 20 when I started here in 2006. So much has changed! But so much has stayed the same Wink The important thing is you're still working at it!

    Wow! I didn't know you started blogging before me. I was on SA that year, but didn't start the blog until 2008. Happy Blogoversary! I think this is the year that it turns around Sarah! Smile Establishing the emergency fund is key, and the foundation to financial success.

    Happy blogaversary! Mine is coming up soon too. I was 29 when I started here, so ten years older than you were, and just a few years past having gotten some financial sense knocked into me. Think where you might be now if you hadn't started thinking about finances at 19?
